The Pin Up Girls

Hello everybody!

It's been a while hun?!

I've been working on my Pin Up Girls project and I finished the first one.

SODA SO-G70 "The Pin up Girl"
Stitched on Linen
Started on January 15th
Finished on February 21st

Isn't it adorable? I plan to stitch only three girls.

I had fun using the linen, it's easier to stitch and I'm learning how to use the circular hoops..some people say it's better when you want to get perfect "crosses". The only thing I can't change in my life is the back of my projects..

I know, it's a mess! Nobody will see it :D

Now I'm stitching the second girl..

I'm almost finishing :D

Wish you all an excellent weekend!!!!

XOXOXO,

Isabella.

New project

Hello everybody!

I started a new project yesterday. SODA SO-3162 Love Forever.

It's a new couple for my wall. So far we have part of the landscape, floor and the bench but I plan to finish the legs today. I decided to post the progress of this project on the sidebar.

Now it's time to find out who will be receiving the travelling pattern. It will travel from Brazil to...

FRANCE! Yes, congrats Valerie! I'm pretty sure that something wonderful is gonna come out! I'm very pleased to send you some goodies together with the pattern.

I want to thank so much for every comment on the last post. Thank you all for participating. Now I have to say the same thing Sarah said: keep tracking the travelling pattern..maybe you can be the one to get it next time!

XOXO, Isa.

Olá pessoal!
Ontem comecei um novo projeto. SODA SO-3162 Love Forever.
Beijos, Isa.

The travelling Pattern.

Finally! I finished the Summer Garden project!

Summer Garden, by Little House Needleworks
Stitched on hand dyed aida
Started on October, 26th
Ended on November, 3rd

I used DMC color variations for the big flowers. It was the very first time using those flosses I've got from Nia. I used some marble Anchor colors I had too. I dyed a little piece of aida using black tea...never did that before.

Thanks a lot for all the help about stitching the flowers. I don't know if I did it right but I tried my best.

I decided not to stitch the frame because of the passe-partout I'm gonna use.

Now I'm ready to pass it to another friend together with some goodies just as Sarah did with me. I can't wait to find out who will be the next one to have this Summer Garden project. If you're interested, all you have to do is comment on this post. I'll pick up the winner next weekend, so...hurry up!

XOXO, Isa.
---------------------------
Finalmente! Terminei o projeto Summer Garden!

Summer Garden project..

Hello my dear friends!

First of all I wanna show you how I ended up with Soda SO-3125 project. I sent as a birthday present to a very special friend in São Paulo. It took a ride with another friend 'cause I was kinda scared of sending it through mail service. My friend Paty took a picture of it in her new home..I must say that I was very proud to see that she loved her new framed Soda.

The second thing is that I'm having problems trying to stitch Summer Garden. I really have no idea at all about how to make three flowers. Can someone help me?

It is taking too long for me to finish this project because I have no idea about the colors I'm gonna use..so, I keep testing colors all the time. I was stitching it on linen but I decided to start all over again with aida.

I think I'm gonna use dmc color variations for the other flowers, as I did with the pink one. What do you guys think?

Hope to show you more soon!

XOXO, Isa.

Beijos, Isa.

SODA SO-4134 A date with a wolf

Onde more done!

SODA SO-4134 A date with a wolf
Stitched on white Dohler Aida
Started on September 21st
Ended on September 26th

Today I did something I was missing a lot..I sewed! I made the pillow case with no ruffles around 'cause the girls is 13 years old...so, I figured out it was gonna be better without it, less childish.

I'm not an expert on patchworking and I wanted something quick and simple for sewing. Now it is time to start with the travelling pattern!

I'm gonna choose the same fabric I used for "Kitchen Goods" I accept all kind of suggestions for the colors I'm gonna use ok?!?

I wish you all a blessed sunday!

---------------------------------------------
