The Pin Up Girls

Hello everybody!

It's been a while hun?!

I've been working on my Pin Up Girls project and I finished the first one.

SODA SO-G70 "The Pin up Girl"
Stitched on Linen
Started on January 15th
Finished on February 21st

Isn't it adorable? I plan to stitch only three girls.

I had fun using the linen, it's easier to stitch and I'm learning how to use the circular hoops..some people say it's better when you want to get perfect "crosses". The only thing I can't change in my life is the back of my projects..

I know, it's a mess! Nobody will see it :D

Now I'm stitching the second girl..

I'm almost finishing :D

Wish you all an excellent weekend!!!!

XOXOXO,

Isabella.

Soda SO-G22 - World collection

I told ya I was gonna finish those girls and I did, after almost 10 months.

Soda SO-G22. World Collection
Stitched in white Dohler Aida
Started on February 10th of 2014
Finished on January, 9th of 2015

I had to drop the korean girl because I went out of some flosses... as you know, they don't sell DMC in Brazil anymore :(

I had my girls washed and I made the passe-partout to send them for framing. If you wanna take a look, just follow the link for the tutorial.

I can say I was very very happy to see it finished because I kept promising myself I was gonna end this project but everytime I had free time to stitch, I got lazy. Finishing it made me wanna wish to stitch again, and I did..I chose the pin-up girls (Soda SO-G70)

And it's almost done! I plan to stitch only 4 girls but I hope I don't take 10 more months to finish them! ehehehehehe

Take care!
XOXOXO, Isabella.

Hello everybody!

Hi everybody!

Shame on me! I am almost a ghost here hun?! Sorry for the disappearance!!! I have lots of photos today :D

I have no excuses to give you for not being present, I only can say that things were happening around here and I forgot about the crafting world a little :D

I forgot about my little girls too! I only have three done but I promised myself that they are gonna be done this semester :D

I have another thing to show you...take a look at this cute Matrioska Pillow:

I ordered from a friend of mine, Marcia Marinho. She sews perfectly! This pillowcase it's just darling! It's about 17 inches high and she used my favorite colors!

There is another thing I wanna show...my second patchwork pillowcase:

I really love vibrant colors! It was super easy to do! I used half squares to make triangles..I'll try to show you how easy this is next time :D

The last thing is my son's 7 years birthday party last monday. He is a special kid and he loves peppa pig..so I decided to surprise him with this cute birthday table:

All the tableware were customized by my brother and I printed and glued everything. I had lots of help from 3 friends of mine for the decoration :D I use to say that if you have good friends, you have everything.

Matheus went crazy when he saw the cake!

The party was awesome! My apartment is so tiny but eveybody came to make him happy!

This is my aunt, she just turned 60,  together with my son and that's why she is blowing candles with him :D

This is only part of the people, the living room was full!

This is party of my family..

 My two oldest sons

  Husband and I

My two adorable brothers

I am a happy happy woman!

Hope u all liked :D XOXOXO, Isa.

Soda SO-3162 Love Forever

Ta da! One more Soda done!

SODA SO-3162 "Lover Forever"
Started on november 9th
Ended on December 07th
Stitched on white 14ct Dohler aida.

It took me more time than the usual to finish this one 'cause I left it aside to stitch 3 projects that you saw on the other posts but I must confess that I fell in love with it :D

Sunday was productive! I woke up at 6 in the morning to finish the Soda pattern.. after that I sewed a couple of  kitchen towels and finished a towel for my little son.

I really hate stitching on towels 'cause the back of it has to be perfect and it takes a lifetime to get it done..besides that, the weave of the fabric is a blast! The crosses never get perfect but I gave my best and I suppose my back is good :D

"Matheus" means Matthew in english. I have to stitch a few more but I get shivers down my spine just to think about it..oh my! I know the theme of the towel is "airplanes" but he is crazy about cars..nobody will notice...eheheh.

Well...I have to think about something new to stitch..

I wish you all a nice week!

XOXO, Isa.

Oi pessoal!
Beijos! Isa.

Cuteness..

Told I was gonna stitch the girl...

Soda SO-4113 Can you see my mind? (girl)
Started on December 2nd
Ended on December 3rd
Stitched on hand dyed 14ct aida (Dohler)

The aida was hand dyed and I used a stencil for the polka dots. The only thing I regret is that I chose the wrong color (the pink I used is too strong)  for the dots...my little girl looks sick..seems that she has chickenpox, eheheheh.

Today I feel like showing some cute stuff in here. I have a friend who onwns a little store for kids and she asked me to take some shots of her producs..She has some cute acessories and clothes for girls there.

Sometimes I get kinda sad because I only have boys but when I think about how expensive it is to have a girl around I thank God that I have boys...ehehehe. On the other hand, I have my nieces to spoil and I do this like an expert...expert on spoling other people's little girls...

This little piece I finished will go to my youngest niece who is also my goddaugther :D

Hope to show this finish sewed as soon as possible.

XOXO, Isabella.

Beijos..Isabella.

SODA SO-4114 Can you see my mind?

Hello everybody!

I'm finally done with the pillowcase!
SODA SO-4114 Can you see my mind?
Stitched on 14ct hand dyed aida from Döhler
Started on Nov, 27th
Ended on Nov. 29th

Isn't cute? I wanted to make something really simple 'cause there aren't too many choices of blue fabric here in my sewing stuff. The hand dyed aida matched perfectly, don't you think? thinking about stitching the girl...

There are some cute details too :D. I'm not an expert with the sewing machine but I try to make my best. :D

XOXO, Isabella

Oi pessoal!
Finalmente terminei a almofadinha do Matheus!
Beijos mil! Isa.

Soda SO-3159 Happy Honeymoon

Terminei!

Agora vou providenciar a moldura!

Quem me conhece sabe que coleciono postais do mundo inteiro.
